CHECK inn Express Taipei Station

Booked 2 rooms. The corner room had 2 windows which was great.Bathroom was a bit small but very clean and everything worked well

the room heater was not working (during winter season)

Absolutely nothing. Please escape. 请逃跑。 Very dirty, old and cramped, toilet always flooded bed bugs etc.

Got to first hand experience surround sound system in hotel. Toilet flushing showering piping sounds at 245 am to keep you awake for your next clubbing event. 2am someone check in, 2.30am someone ring our doorbell. 2.45 we heard piak piak noises. Clearly the escort rang the wrong doorbell. Please do not stay here with kids or for your own sanity. (They sound like professional pornstars.) PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. EVERYTHING CAN BE HEARD THROUGH THE WALLS, PIPING WATER FLUSHING ETC. EVEN THEM PUTTING DOWN SHOWERHEAD AFTER PIAK CAN BE HEARD. PLEASE BOOKING HOW IS THIS GENIUS HOTEL. IF MAXIMUM STAR IS 5. I GIVE THIS A 1 for the surround sound.

Great location for exploring taipei. Amazing staff and very clean.

Our room had a leak in the window but otherwise nothing.

The bath room, linen and other amenities in general are clean and nice. 10-15 min walk to 2 main stations and located on a bustling street. Staff are helpful and responsive. Also luggage storage is possible which is a big plus!

The hotel, hallway and the room do not look as new and clean as the photos.

We booked a Superior Double Room. Although it was on the small size, we were happy with it. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Everything was clean, fresh and new. The staff and the location were great, too.

The shower was nice and hot in the evenings. In the mornings, there wasn't much hot water after 8:00am ... maybe because other guests had already used up the hot.

The staff was very friendly. I accidentally left something behind and they contacted me so I could get it back! Really appreciated that. My room was close to the elevator so I worried about noise, but it was fine. Room was a good size for one person and I felt safe at the property. Room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job. The location was about 7 minutes walk from Taipei Main Station and among some excellent side streets with some of the most inexpensive shopping I found in Taipei!

I missed having breakfast on site. When I arrived from my flight, no one was at reception, and I called the number listed but no one answered. Eventually someone did arrive and was very helpful securing my bags until check-in time! Walls are a bit thin between rooms, but I always use ear plugs, so it wasn't an issue for me.

Paper thin walls (poor noise insulation), odd smell, antique plumbing means toilet paper disposal bins. AC couldn't be used to hear the room (it was super cold). Tiny window

The room is clean, the location is perfect, it’s near the transportation and convenience store. The staff are welcoming. We had a lovely stay.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Room was a decent size if a bit sparse on furniture that would make the stay more convenient (i.e. a mirror aside from the bathroom, more hooks).

Noise is a problem. I could hear every clap, laugh and phone alarm from those around me. Would be woken in the middle of the night due to how well I could hear others. Staff is sometimes at the desk and sometimes not. There is no secure luggage storage onsite. Visitors can leave their luggage in the lobby (at times unmanned for quite some time) which isn't convenient.

Great hotel for its value! The staff were very friendly and the bed was very comfortable. There was also enough space for all my large luggage.

The room is quite small but full of facilities you want. The service and reception are very good. No complaints here.

Some of the facilities are quite not in good condition but not unusable. If you don't mind that much. It's totally fine.

The location is a little bit far from the MRT station. But, it is near Taipei Main Station.

The staff that checked us in the morning was rude and impatient. Others are polite and helpful. Room is quite small.

Location is convenient, walkable to airport express mrt station. Lots of food around the area.

Rooms could be cleaner, some of the walls had stains and one of the towels has some stains.

The room was roomy, and check-in and -out were stress-free. The beds were clean, large and comfy. Free water bottles were given, which is nice since I was strongly advised not to drink the tap water.

There was no shower curtain, which meant having to sit/lie down in the shower to prevent the bathroom from getting completely soaked.
